Xiaomi India started sending out press invites for an event on November 2. The company plans to introduce yet another smartphone series after the Mi A1 arrival, followed by the Mi Mix 2.
The lightning symbol in the middle indicates that this phone is likely to pack a fast charging solution like Qualcomm’s Quick Charge, which was introduced by Xiaomi, back in September with the launch of Mi Note 3. Many have received the invitation to the launch event and it reads, “A new series is coming. Join Manu and Jai on 02.11.2017” which indicates that there is indeed a new series that Xiaomi is planning to launch in India.
Xiaomi has claimed on its MIUI site that the new series will include something that we have been impatiently waiting for. The company will release more teasers for the upcoming launch on a daily basis.
This announcement comes weeks after the company launched the much anticipated Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 at a launch event in New Delhi. Xiaomi has priced the Mi Mix 2 at Rs 35,999 for the 128 GB internal storage along with 6 GB RAM. The device will be available in the first week of November both on online and offline channels.
